Journal of Literary Appreciation: The Scientific Journal of Indonesian Language and Literature focuses on the publication of research results, scientific studies, and critical thinking in the field of Indonesian language and literature, with an emphasis on the development of theory, practice, and appreciation of literary works as part of culture.
Scope
Syntactic studies in the Indonesian Language and Literature journal focus on research on the structure, function, and relationships between linguistic elements within a linguistic unit, particularly at the phrase, clause, and sentence levels. The scope of this study includes, but is not limited to:
1. Syntactic Structure of the Indonesian Language
Discussion of sentence formation patterns, phrase and clause structures, and structural relationships between elements within a sentence.
2. Syntactic Function
Analysis of the role of sentence elements, such as subjects, predicates, objects, complements, and adverbs in various constructions.
3. Sentence Classification
The study of sentence types, both simple and compound, and their grouping based on communication purpose, such as statements, questions, commands, and exclamations.
4. Sentence Structure Transformation
Research on changes in sentence form, such as shifts from active to passive, inversion, element omission (ellipsis), and the emphasis of certain parts (topicalization).
5. Syntax in Discourse
A study that examines the relationships between sentences in building cohesion and understanding (coherence) in a discourse.
6. Theoretical Approaches to Syntax
The use of various theoretical approaches, such as structural, generative, functional, and cognitive, in the analysis of Indonesian language syntax.
7. Syntax in Language Learning
A study of language errors at the syntactic level, the language acquisition process, and syntax learning methods.
8. Syntax in Literature
Analysis of the use of sentence structure and linguistic style in literary works, such as poetry, short stories, and novels.
9. Comparative Study of Syntax
A study that compares the syntactic structure of Indonesian with other languages, both regional and foreign.
10. Syntax in Various Language Varieties
Analysis of the use of syntax in various contexts, such as mass media, digital media, and spoken and written language varieties.
This journal accepts articles in the form of research results, literature studies, or conceptual ideas that are relevant to the field of Indonesian language and literature.
