The plagiarism screening process is conducted as an important part of article evaluation in literary appreciation journals to ensure that submitted manuscripts maintain originality and comply with academic ethics. This examination is carried out using similarity detection software to compare the manuscript with various scholarly sources, including journals, books, proceedings, and other online references.
The screening results indicate that the article has a similarity rate of no more than 20%, which is still within the acceptable limit determined by the journal management. The percentage includes quotations, references, and commonly used academic terminology. Therefore, the manuscript is considered eligible to proceed to the next stage of the editorial process.
Through plagiarism screening, editors are able to confirm that all theories, opinions, and data used in the manuscript are properly cited. This process not only preserves academic integrity but also improves publication quality and encourages authors to produce original, responsible, and academically valuable scholarly work.
