Article Processing Charges

DIDAKTIS: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia is a fully open-access journal that provides immediate and free access to all published articles, in line with our commitment to the global exchange of knowledge.

Submission Fee
There is no submission fee. Authors are not charged for manuscript submission, peer review, or editorial processing.

Article Processing Charge
An Article Processing Charge (APC) applies only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. Effective from April 2026, the APC for each accepted manuscript is IDR 2,000,000 (approximately USD 125). This charge supports the costs of professional copyediting, layout, DOI registration through Crossref, long-term digital archiving, and the maintenance of open-access infrastructure.

Payment Procedure
Upon formal acceptance of the manuscript, payment instructions and details for the Article Processing Charge (APC) are officially communicated by the editorial office via email to the corresponding author.

Waiver Policy
DIDAKTIS recognizes that access to publication should not be limited by financial constraints. Authors who are unable to pay the APC, particularly those facing genuine financial hardship or affiliated with institutions in low-income and lower-middle-income countries as classified by the Research4Life programme,  may request a partial or full waiver at the point of submission. Waiver requests are considered individually on their merits and are handled independently of the peer-review process, ensuring that editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific quality and relevance of the manuscript.

Refund Policy
Once a manuscript has been accepted and the APC has been paid, the charge is non-refundable, except in cases where an error attributable to the journal prevents publication. Provisions regarding manuscript withdrawal are described in the Author Guidelines.
