Publication Ethics
Apresiasi Sastra: Jurnal Ilmiah Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors, editors, and reviewers are expected to uphold integrity, transparency, and professionalism throughout the publication process.
Authors
Authors must submit original manuscripts that have not been published or submitted elsewhere. They are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the research, properly acknowledging all sources, avoiding plagiarism and data fabrication, and disclosing any potential conflicts of interest. All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research and approve the final manuscript. If significant errors are identified after publication, authors are obliged to notify the editor promptly.
Editors
Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the manuscript's academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope. They must ensure a fair and confidential double-blind peer-review process, maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts, avoid conflicts of interest, and take appropriate action in cases of suspected publication misconduct.
Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and within the agreed review period. They must keep all manuscript information confidential, provide constructive comments to improve the quality of the manuscript, identify relevant uncited literature when necessary, and declare any conflicts of interest that may affect their judgment.
