WATCHING HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER’S STONE SCENES TO INCREASE STUDENTS’ LISTENING COMPREHENSION

This Objective of the research to find out the influence of watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone scenes on students' listening comprehension. This research uses quantitative methods with a pre-experimental design. The sample of this research consisted of 12 students in second-year Senior High School. The results of this research showed there was an improvement, the mean score of students' listening tests increased from 51.82 to 75.64 and there was a significance of 0.002 with an increase of 42%. Students gave a positive response to this study.
